At The Maids / Donnelly Service Group, Inc., we’ve been dedicated to making homes shine since our doors first opened on February 28, 1995. What began as a small operation has grown into one of eastern New England’s leading residential cleaning services. Over the decades, we’ve built a reputation for delivering unmatched quality and customer care, but our greatest achievement is the team behind it all.
In 2020, to mark our 25th anniversary, we made a decision that reflects our deep commitment to our employees and our community. We transitioned to an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), turning our dedicated staff into employee-owners at no cost to them. This step wasn’t just about sharing the financial success of our business—it was about helping our employees build generational wealth, ensuring their hard work pays off in meaningful ways, and keeping our business locally owned and invested in the communities we serve.
Since the launch of the ESOP, our company has flourished. Even through the challenges of the pandemic, we’ve continued to grow, adding happy customers year after year. Our workforce reflects this success: the average tenure for our cleaning professionals is now over five years, and for our support staff, it’s more than ten. Over half of our support team began their careers as cleaners and advanced through clearly defined pathways into new roles.
