Mark and Eileen Ramsey – Owners

Our journey with The Maids has been a remarkable adventure that began in 1997. When I was hired by Dan Bishop, the founder of The Maids as a marketing coach, helping new franchise owners with their advertising needs. In 2002 my wife Eileen and I purchased the Johnson County franchise. Quickly grew the franchise to be one of the largest in the system. In 2022 we purchased the Missouri side of Kansas City and became The Maids Serving the Greater Kansas City Area. We take pride in being the largest single office in The Maids system and one of the largest house cleaning companies in the Midwest. Our success is because of our people! Our management team has well over 100 years of combined experience, and we have team members who have been with us since the beginning. This incredible team strives each day to reach our goal, and that is to WOW every customer!

Ron Schmidt – General Manager

Meet Ron Schmidt, the General Manager at The Maids serving Greater Kansas City Area! He has been running our successful The Maids franchise for over 30 years. Ron is familiar with every part of the business and has been recognized throughout The Maids system.  The two-time winner of National Manager of the Year demonstrates a dedication to both our employees and customers.

Ron’s long and successful journey with The Maids has helped him build strong, lasting relationships with both customers and team members. His background in various management and customer service roles has equipped him with the skills and knowledge to lead 90 rockstar team members and keep over 800 happy customers smiling.

A lifelong resident of Johnson County, he grew up in Shawnee and currently resides with his family in Olathe. Ron and his wife of 20 years are proud parents to five amazing kids.

When he’s not at work, Ron loves spending quality time with his family and friends. You might catch him enjoying a movie night, hitting the golf course, strolling around Crown Center, or dining out at one of his favorite spots on The Plaza.

Nick Ramsey – Director of Customer Service

Nick Ramsey brings an extensive amount of experience in customer service to The Maids. He also brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the business that his family has owned for over twenty years. Raised just up the road in Omaha, Nick pursued his dream of playing baseball at Rockhurst University in Kansas City. While at Rockhurst, Nick earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in business. His career has seen him excel in various roles at Mission Hills Country Club, The Kansas City T-bones, and The Shamrock Corporation, showcasing his commitment to exceptional service.

At The Maids, Nick serves as the Director of Customer Services, where he oversees customer interactions and ensures the highest level of service for clients in the Greater Kansas City Area. He and his team are responsible for delivering a “WOW” customer experience. Nick’s leadership has been instrumental in implementing innovative strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Over the past 12 years, Nick has made Kansas City his home, residing in Roeland Park, Kansas with his wife Alli and their beloved brown lab, Norman. Outside of work, Nick enjoys golf and exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Crossroads, Brookside, and downtown Kansas City. He indulges in the city’s diverse culinary scene and breweries, often discovering new favorite spots.
