THE MAIDS SELECTED AS A TOP 50 FRANCHISE FOR MINORITIES

The Maids Selected as a Top 50 Franchise for Minorities

OMAHA, Neb. – The Maids was recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Franchises for minorities by the National Minority Franchising Initiative (NMFI). The Maids was chosen as a result of its commitment to the recruitment and advancement of minorities within the company.

“We are extremely honored to be one of the top 50 franchises for minorities,” said Colin Bishop, president and chief executive officer of The Maids.  “It certainly validates our unwavering commitment to the growth and satisfaction of our franchisees.”

Consideration for the honor required the submittal of a questionnaire that noted the number of operating units owned by minorities, as well as the number of minorities in senior management that earn over $60,000 per year.

The NMFI received nearly 500 responses to this year’s survey for inclusion on its annual list of “50 Top Franchises for Minorites.” Survey results were featured in the Nov. 4, 2011, issue of USA Today.  In addition, the article was widely distributed at the West Coast Franchise expo in Los Angeles.
