The Maids ranks 64th on 2010 AllBusiness AllStar Franchises List

The Maids has been ranked 64th out of 300 franchise businesses on the second annual AllBusiness AllStar Franchises list for 2010.

Businesses included on the list were chosen by editors and experts from All Business (, a Dun & Bradstreet company, for being the "best of the best" for 2010. The Maids was chosen due to its financial strength, business longevity, and disclosing financial performance representations in Item 19 of its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

The Maids was highlighted for its high-caliber franchisees, and past award acknowledgements, like the Franchise Business Review's Franchise 50® franchise award. It was also noted that The Maids is listed on the SBA's Franchise Registry and offers discounts off the franchise fee to qualified veterans and minorities through the IFA's VetFran and MinorityFran programs.

To be eligible for the AllStars list, franchise companies had to submit a Franchise Disclosure Document and have at least 25 current domestic franchised units (or 100 company-owned units and five domestic franchise units).

Various criteria were used to rank winners, including franchise unit growth rate, financial strength, system size, years in business, years franchising, availability of financing, and Web (brand) visibility.
