Jennifer Easter, Kayla Owens and Cristina Ramirez Gomez, Team 1 at The Maids in Baton Rouge, La., was recognized as the 2018 Team of the Year at The Maids International Growth Summit in Omaha, Neb., March 30, 2019.

The Team of the Year award honors and recognizes The Maids’ team, which consistently displays both exceptional quality and superior customer experience. Team 1 was chosen from approximately 700 teams among the over 180 franchises throughout the United States and Canada. The award was presented at The Maids International’s annual Growth Summit, a conference where The Maids franchise owners from across the U.S. and Canada participate in business sessions, share ideas with other franchisees, and recognize outstanding employees and franchise owners. Team 1 was nominated for the award by franchisees Dean and Charlotte Blanchard, franchisees of The Maids in Baton Rouge.

Together Team 1 has over 33 years of experience at The Maids. Easter is the team leader, Owens the assistant team leader and Ramirez Gomez is a team member. The team works flawlessly together, and one benefitting factor might be because Easter and Owens are a mother-daughter duo. They actually drive almost 160 miles roundtrip to the Baton Rouge office and back each day. The team is recognized by their customers for their dedication and consistent quality.
