THE MAIDS AGAIN SELECTED AS A TOP 50 FRANCHISE FOR VETERANS

The Maids Again Selected as a Top 50 Franchise for Veterans

OMAHA, Neb. – The Maids was recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Franchises for Veterans by the World Franchising Network (WFN).  The Maids was chosen as a result of its commitment to the recruitment and advancement of veterans within the company.

“Veterans offer a unique perspective and possess career attributes that lead to successful entrepreneurial success,” said Colin Bishop, president and chief executive officer. “The Maids is appreciative of the sacrifices made by U.S. servicemen and women. We strive to provide both corporate and franchise opportunities that best suit their vast array of talents.”

Consideration for the honor required the submittal of a questionnaire describing the specific financial incentives the franchisor provides to veterans.  In addition, the number of operating units owned by veterans as well as the number of veterans in senior management who earned over $60,000 per year was included in the submission.

Hundreds of companies vied for inclusion on the WFN’s annual list of “50 Top Franchises for Veterans.” Survey results were featured in the Jan. 9, 2011, issue of USA Today.

The Maids offers veterans a franchise fee discount through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran initiative. Learn more about The Maids franchise opportunities at www.maids.com/franchise.
