Over the past weekend, Las Vegas (surprisingly) became the cleanest city in the world as over 230 attendees of The Maids franchise came together for the company’s annual Growth Summit. Every year in the spring, owners and managers, get together to network, engage in presentations by well-known speakers, and celebrate accomplishments of the past year.
The weekend started with educational sessions by partners and vendors of The Maids. In the afternoon, Colin Bishop, CEO and President, launched the event. Attendees were inspired by messages ranging from self-discipline, customer service, and accountability. The keynote speakers motivated attendees with their passionate words carrying the enthusiasm into the final evening as the company bestowed its annual coveted awards.
Some of the awards and honorees at the Growth Summit were:
- Team of the Year: Blue Team, The Maids of Warwick, Rhode Island
- Manager of the Year: Kelly Modeer, The Maids of Kansas City, Missouri
- Franchise of the Year: The Maids of Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio
- Spirit Award: Wes and Melinda Dunn, The Maids of Durham – Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Several other franchises were admired earning awards for quality, customer service, employee satisfaction, profitability, revenue and highest overall growth. We’d like to give an official congratulations to all the award winners!
Knowing everyone learns from their peers, the event was a great opportunity for franchise owners to discuss actions in delivering the utmost quality service. Regardless if an owner has been in business for 30 years or three months, the knowledge and information shared was invaluable.
