For coffee lovers there’s one thing that completely makes the fall season one of our ultimate favorites and that’s the spicy goodness of a perfectly brewed, hot pumpkin spice latte. The only thing that makes this cup of heaven taste sweeter is making it yourself. The aroma that fills your home is a good enough reason to make this pumpkin spice latte recipe a weekly routine.
Ingredients
2 cups milk (any % works)
4 tablespoons canned pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup strong coffee (brewed in the coffee maker or espresso machine)
canned whipped cream
Â
Directions
1. Add the milk, pumpkin, sugar, vanilla and pumpkin pie spice to a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring almost to a boil. *
2. Remove from heat and add to a blender. Blend on high until the milk begins to froth, about 2 minutes.
3. Divide milk mixture between two mugs.
4. Add the coffee slowly down the side so you don’t disturb the milk froth, add a squirt of whipped cream and a pinch more of the pumpkin pie spice and enjoy.
*If you prefer using the microwave instead of the stovetop; add the milk mixture to a microwaveable container and heat to the desired temperature.
Heya I’m first time here.
