THE MAIDS CLEANING SERVICE NEWS

The Maids serving Birmingham was a proud participant in The Exceptional Foundation's 2010 Chili Cook-Off. Over 80 companies participated as teams gathered to make their favorite chili recipes. The Maids were honored to earn fifth place.

The Maids "HomeMaid Chili" team included Rachel, Leslie, Leann, Mike, Erica, Amber, Bailey and Cameron. Arriving on site at 7:30 a.m. for preparation, the team cooked and served 15 gallons of their home"maid" chili.

This successful fundraising event drew 6,000 participants and raised over $140,000 for the Exceptional Foundation, an organization that meets the social and recreational needs of the mentally and physically challenged individuals in the greater Birmingham Area.
