Maid Service Franchise Expands after Success

Chris and Sue Rudolph, entrepreneurs and owners of THE MAIDS Home Services serving Greater Danbury and Litchfield County, have recently expanded their market to include Washington Depot, Washington, Bethlehem, Roxbury, Woodbury, Middlebury, Southbury, Oxford and Seymour.

The Rudolphs look forward to bringing more professionalism to the customers in the expanded communities, as well as providing ongoing service to customers of THE MAIDS Home Services of Waterbury, which recently sold their franchise to the Rudolphs and another nearby franchise owner.

“We’ve been working hard this year to offer our customers with something they just can’t find anywhere else,” says Chris of his expansion. “We are excited to provide our new customers with the same level of quality service that our existing customers experience on a daily basis.”

The Rudolphs dedication to quality service is not just puffery. To make sure they do just that, for almost two years, they have been using an independent national research firm that contacts customers by phone, following service to participate in a brief survey about their most recent visit. The customers’ comments are tallied and converted to a measurable rating system on quality, customer service and customer loyalty. Chris and Sue Rudolph’s scores continue to be among the highest of all franchise operations within THE MAIDS Home Services franchise system.

“We value our relationship with our customers and want to ensure that we take nothing for granted,” explains Chris. “We work very hard to keep our customers excited about our service and expecting the best in quality and service.”

THE MAIDS Home Services provides customers with an exclusive 22-Step Healthy Touch Deep Cleaning System. Their professionally uniformed and trained four-person teams arrive in a yellow THE MAIDS’ company car emblazoned with THE MAIDS logo. The company prides itself on providing the most thorough housecleaning in the area and that is why they have touted on all of their advertising the bold statement “Nobody Outcleans THE MAIDS”.

“We stand behind the quality of our service,” says Sue. “We use environmentally-preferable cleaning products; we take dirt out of the home instead of spreading it around like conventional cleaning practices; and our back pack vacuums have a HEPA filtration system so the air in the home is actually cleaner.”

These practices support how THE MAIDS Home Services is the only residential cleaning franchise to clean for health. The unique cleaning method used by THE MAIDS provides customers with cleaner, healthier homes through their distinctive cleaning products and equipment, as well as their strategic, methodic cleaning approach.

Each of the team members has a function or job to perform in the home - kitchen, bathrooms, dusting or vacuuming – and is a specialist in each task. Using this exclusive team approach provides the most efficient, comprehensive housecleaning in the industry.  Each team is supervised by a working team leader who ensures the home is cleaned to THE MAIDS Home Services’ high standards of quality and excellence. As added peace of mind, THE MAIDS Home Services’ team members are bonded and insured and all services are backed by a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee.

Chris and Sue, along with their daughters, Kristi and Melissa, who assist with the management of the family business, manage the operation from their office in Brookfield. They currently provide service to 350 customers and employ 40 team members.
