The Maids of Orlando Recycled Electronic Equipment
After all sensitive information is securely erased, The Maids in Orlando, Florida, donates its used computers and electronic equipment to Reconnect, Goodwill's computer recycling program. Reconnect repairs broken computers for resale to the public. Proceeds help fund Goodwill's community employment programs. Computers that cannot be reused are recycled for parts and materials. This reduces the use of landfills, and reduces environmental impacts and social abuses involved in mining such materials.
