THE MAIDS Home Services in West Los Angeles, a professional residential cleaning service franchise that services Brentwood, Marina Del Ray, Pacific Palisades, Rancho Park, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Bel Air, Westwood, Venice and West Los Angeles owned by Jennie Lim of Los Angeles, recently received the highest honor for a new franchise within THE MAIDS Home Services system, the Start Up of the Year Award.
Lim received the coveted international award at THE MAIDS Home Services National Convention, April 4, 2008, in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Start Up of the Year award, given to a franchise that has recently completed its first full year in business, represents achievement for franchise growth, profit, quality of service, professional image and overall contributions to THE MAIDS Home Services franchise system.
Lim was also presented with the President’s Award, which celebrates significant achievement in overall sales and growth in the last year.
A native of Korea, Lim has lived in the U.S. since 1974. She attended Brooks College in Long Beach. Lim’s interest in owning her own franchise stems from a desire to have complete control of her own success. With a background in the financial services field, Lim has extensive experience managing employees and winning over customers. In January 2006, Lim began what was to quickly become an enterprising and thriving business venture.
“No matter how long you work for a company you never have equity in the business. I wanted to be in an equity position where I could build it up and there was endless possibility of what I could do. The sky was the limit,” said Lim.
She has clearly set her sights high and is determined to set herself apart from the competition by offering what others often lack. Lim, with over 20 employees who clean almost 100 homes a week in the prestigious neighborhoods of the West Los Angeles area, said she builds the business through a genuine dedication to honesty, reliability and quality.
“I think honesty goes a long way with customers, as well as our commitment to provide them with the best service and highest quality clean,” said Lim.
Lim’s customers appreciate her attention to exceeding their expectations.
