The Maids of Oak Lawn Host Cleaning Drive for Local Ronald McDonald House

Oak Lawn - April 29, 2014 - Local business, The Maids of Oak Lawn announces its commitment to the community as the team of yellow cars launch a Spring Cleaning Drive to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Oak Lawn. As part of the drive, The Maids will collect new cleaning supply donations to help offset ongoing operational expenses at the local Ronald McDonald House.
 
“Ronald McDonald House is dedicated to supporting families during a difficult time and The Maids are honored to help support their mission,” said Melanie Moran, general manager for The Maids of Oak Lawn. “We hope our local drive for supplies will help Ronald McDonald House make life better and less stressful for families during their stay,” adds Moran.
 
Ronald McDonald House cleaning supply wish list includes: gallon size garbage bags, liquid laundry detergent, infant laundry detergent, laundry stain remover products, wet and duster refill clothes, white plastic toilet bowl brushes, disinfectant wipes, bathroom tub and sink cleaning products, individual bottles of liquid hand soap, liquid dishwashing detergent, brooms and dustpans, and shower curtain liners.
 
Ronald McDonald House of Oak Lawn is a 16-bedroom facility that provides a home-like setting for families of children with complex medical needs by providing comfort, compassion and a sense of community.
 
The Maids of Oak Lawn serves the Beverly, Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood communities as well as many southwest suburbs including Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park, Chicago Ridge, Palos Park, Palos Heights, Palos Hills and Orland Park with environmentally friendly home cleaning.
