The Maids Honors Medway’s Jena Touray as 2013 Manager of the Year
The Maids International, corporate office of The Maids franchise system, recognized Jena Touray as the 2013 Manager of the Year, the highest honor given to a The Maids manager, during its Annual Growth Summit held recently in Omaha, Neb.
The Manager of the Year award is designed to honor the person who most consistently displays exceptional ability in managing a The Maids franchise. The honoree must excel in areas including team management, sales ability, customer relations, rapport with employees and work ethic.
Touray has been with The Maids of Medway since November of 2010. When she joined The Maids, she was part of a three location franchise. She worked diligently to steer the business through two acquisitions and currently serves as the vice president of operations for a five location business.
“Jena fully embodies what it means to be a leader,” shared franchisee Robert Goodliffe. “She constantly works to bring out the best in those around her. She works hard to maintain, monitor and improve how the management team in this five location business goes about delivering service. She leads with a sense of strength, calm and compassion.”
Jena was surprised and humbled by her selection as The Maids Manager of the Year. “I was completely speechless,” explained Touray. “There is so much amazing talent spread across our system. Being selected for this award is an absolute honor.”
Touray truly enjoys watching her teams be successful. “This award serves as a reminder to me that the cost of being a leader is a debt to your people,” Touray explains. “My people achieved this for me, and now my focus is on how we can all get to that next level.”
