Our Team
At The Maids Home Services of Central Maryland, we work hard to provide you with the highest quality clean available. Our qualified staff of professional cleaning team members and management are here to help you and your family enjoy a cleaner, healthier home. We have been serving the Central Maryland area for over 12 years, and we welcome the opportunity to serve you and your friends and family the way we have since day one – with quality customer care and deep, healthy quality cleans.
Our cleaning services are based on the backbone of The Maids Home Services’ cleaning regimen, our unique 22-step deep-cleaning Healthy Touch® cleaning system. We use only environmentally-preferable cleaning supplies and state-of-the-art equipment to remove more dust, dirt and other allergens than conventionally cleaning practices. Nobody can outclean us! We do things the “old fashioned way,” including cleaning hard-surface floors on hands and knees, and we add personal touches to our cleans that let you know we care about you and your home.
Give our sales associate, Linda Crosby, a call today. She would be happy to tell you more about what makes The Maids Home Services of Central Maryland the best home service provider in town.
A Special Honor in 2003
In June, we were honored to learn that one of our own staff had been named Maid of the Year by our parent company, The Maids International. Janet Henry, one of our Team Leader/Supervisors, who has been with us for three years was flown to Omaha, Nebraska for our Annual Convention and given the royal treatment for her achievements.
In July, the Baltimore Sun ran a piece written by Lisa Pollak, featuring our "Maid of the Year."
'It's going to sound brazen, but I'm good at what I do'
I like my job. It's going to sound brazen, but I'm good at what I do. When I go into a house, I want it done right. I'm the team leader. We work in teams of four. If something isn't done to my liking, I'll tell the person who's doing it: 'You've got to do it better.' Today one of the women was vacuuming a laundry room. There was a flashlight sitting in the corner she didn't pick up. I told her, 'You've got to be more conscientious. Pick it up, vacuum under it, and put it back.'
...The funniest thing we've ever seen is at a house we do once a month. Last June when we went in she had her Christmas tree up already and Christmas gifts under it. It stayed up until January. We just cleaned around it.
I clean on average six houses a day. On weekends, I clean my own house. I don't mind it; I'm used to cleaning. I don't fold down the paper towels or toilet paper at my own house, no. Just for the customers. But I do have special towels in my bathroom that nobody can use which are folded in thirds. I can be nitpicky with my house too.
