Scheduling
We will schedule your regular service for a specific day. Because our cleaning teams take the necessary time in each home, we cannot guarantee the exact time we will arrive to your home. We will do our best to accommodate the time range you need. Please call in advance if you need to change your regularly scheduled visit. In addition, we will also accommodate you for unscheduled “special occasion” cleans, such as before or after a party or special event in your home.
Holidays
If your regularly scheduled clean falls on a holiday, we will contact you in advance to make arrangements to clean your home on another day that week.
Security
We care about your home and want you to feel comfortable while we are in it. Our teams are bonded and insured and we hire trustworthy people. Our team will need ready access to your home during business hours on your scheduled day. Most of our customers give us an alarm code and key that we keep securely in our lockbox. Our goal is to ensure the security of your home.
Pets
Be assured that we will be friendly to your pets and won’t let them out of your home. Sometimes pets aren’t comfortable with strangers, so we ask that you secure them as appropriate. OSHA guidelines do not allow us to clean up after their “messes.”
Payment
Payment is due at time of service. Please place your check in plain view on the kitchen table or countertop. Tipping is not allowed. Small gifts during the holiday season are allowed when appropriate.
Supplies
The Maids’ cleaning teams come to your home fully equipped and ready to work. Our cleaning teams use environmentally preferable cleaning products, Back Pack vacuums with HEPA filtration, and microfiber cleaning cloths. Our insurance allows us to use a 2-foot stepladder.

If you ever have questions, problems or comments, or if you’d like to provide specific instructions for your cleaning team, please call or email us. The Maids has a 3 minute on-line or telephone survey program for you to use to let us know how we are doing. We encourage you to give us feedback as often as you like or at least every 4-6 weeks, so we can continue to improve our service to you. The information is available on your Thank You receipt card.
