The Maids Home Services of Mobile, a franchise of The Maids International, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska was founded in September 1986 by David B. Henry. David, who holds a Master's Degree in Hospital Administration from Duke University, has 16 years management experience in health care, combined with 20 years as Chief Executive Officer of his own company.

Assiting David in the management of The Maids is Rosemary Z. Henry. Rosemary, a mother of six, holds a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of South Alabama. Prior to becoming the Operations Manager for The Maids Home Services, she had 17 years experience in counseling, teaching and real estate sales.

Since 1980, The Maids Home Services has been a leader in the residential cleaning industry. Distinguished by their yellow cars with the vacuum letter "d" in their logo, The Maids Home Services is known throughout the United States and Canada as the premier residential cleaning service for customers interested in total quality. Our "Healthy Touch" program is the only residential cleaning system dedicated to providing a healthier home environment.

The Maids Home Services of Mobile has grown to become a leading franchise of The Maids International, having been honored as the "Franchise of the Year" in 1991. In 1996, The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce honored our company as a "Future 30" company, one of Mobile's fastest growing companies.

Our Work Ethic

Each of our employees is a special person to us. We know that the quality of our service depends upon each of them. That's why we carefully screen and select each employee. Each applicant has a reference check, a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and completes a computerized personality profile to determine:
